Further Responsibilities Include the Following

- Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, scope, deliverables, and overall performance.
- Track project costs, progress, and key performance indicators throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain clear communication throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, construction personnel, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, execution plans, and other project documentation.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify cost, schedule, scope, and execution risks.
- Manage project changes and ensure impacts to cost, schedule, and scope are effectively communicated.
- Support construction activities and coordinate with field teams when required.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and responsiveness.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in occasional travel to industrial and project sites as required.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant project management and project delivery experience
- Previous experience within industrial, heavy civil, structural, mining, or construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from initial scope through completion.
- Strong experience managing project costs, budgets, schedules, scope, and client expectations.
- Experience coordinating directly with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong technical and/or construction knowledge with the ability to understand project requirements and communicate effectively with technical personnel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous construction management experience is considered a strong asset.
- Mining and heavy industrial project experience is considered an asset.
- Previous engineering consulting experience is considered an asset.
- An engineering degree and P.Eng. designation are considered assets but are not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Why This Firm?
This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering consulting firm that provides exposure to a diverse range of industrial projects, clients, and locations.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of projects rather than being limited to one specific function or project type. The role offers exposure to both engineering and construction activities and the opportunity to work closely with clients throughout the full project lifecycle.
Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resume in Word format to this posting or email christopher.phillips@torustalent.com.
Torus Talent and our client are equal opportunity employers. Due to the time-sensitive nature of this requirement, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
