From advancing accessible and regenerative tourism to supporting innovative visitor experiences and a strong destination brand, we are committed to creating meaningful benefits for visitors, local businesses, residents, and our community. We believe tourism can be a powerful force for positive change, and we are here to lead that change with purpose, creativity, and collaboration.

  • Work with internal teams and project partners to track, compile, and report on established KPIs, outputs, and outcomes for assigned projects.

  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with tourism partners, community organizations, government representatives, and other project partners.
  • Coordinate partner outreach, meetings, working groups, consultations, and collaborative activities.
  • Represent Tourism Richmond at meetings, workshops, community events, and industry.

Project Administration, Budget & Reporting

  • Maintain project files, contact records, agreements, decisions, timelines, and activity records, while proactively managing project risks, dependencies, delays, budget pressures, and implementation issues within the role’s authority.
  • Monitor project budgets, process POs and invoices, track commitments and expenditures, and support financial reconciliation.
  • Prepare status updates, reports, presentations, and internal briefing materials.

What You'll Bring

  • Post-secondary education in tourism, destination management, community or economic development, planning, business administration, project management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to four years of related experience in tourism, destination or community development, project or program coordination, partner engagement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and executing multi-partner projects, programs, events, or community initiatives from initiation through completion.
  • Experience with partner consultation, report preparation, budget tracking, project monitoring, and project administration.
