Enforcement Services Clerk
Permanent Full-time

Are you an organized administrative professional who thrives on accuracy, variety, and keeping things moving behind the scenes? Morinville is seeking an Enforcement Services Clerk to join our Community Safety Services team. If you are detail-oriented, comfortable managing confidential information, and able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, this may be the opportunity for you.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Enforcement Services, you will provide confidential administrative and operational support to Enforcement Services. Working closely with the Community Peace Officers, you will coordinate enforcement files, tickets, court documentation, records, resident inquiries, and day-to-day administrative processes that support effective service delivery.

This varied municipal role combines detailed administration, public service, and coordination. You will work with residents, enforcement officers, court and Crown contacts, external agencies, contract partners, and internal departments while helping keep enforcement processes accurate, organized, and on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, maintain, and process enforcement files, tickets, municipal tags, and related documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Prepare and coordinate court documentation, disclosure packages, video, reports, officer notes, and other supporting materials within required timelines.
  • Liaise with Crown prosecutors, court staff, Community Peace Officers, external agencies, contract partners, and internal departments as required.
  • Maintain confidential enforcement records and departmental documentation in accordance with records management and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide professional front-line customer service and respond to enforcement-related inquiries, concerns, calls, emails, and follow-up requests.
  • Create and track work orders and service requests; prepare meeting minutes and correspondence; and support departmental records and documentation.
  • Assist with invoice coding and tracking, office purchasing, staff scheduling, coordination, and operational logistics.
  • Provide administrative coverage to Community and Infrastructure Services Division, as required.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience; municipal government or public-sector experience is an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to provide professional and diplomatic customer service.
  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with court or legal documentation, municipal enforcement processes, records management systems, or enforcement software is an asset.

Compensation/Hours of Work: Annual salary range of $57,705 to $70,934 (7 Step Grid), based on a 35-hour work week. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Pension, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
