Our consultants pursue and execute automation, operations, and process engineering consulting engagements for new and existing clients, helping them to meet their strategic business goals. The consultants also engage in strategic sales of automation systems, through the use of Data Analysis, Material Handling System Design, and Computer Simulation.

General Job Duties
- Ability to develop excellent client relationships and earn their trust though superior problem solving and hard work.
- Close major system sales through a "top down" consultative selling approach. Beat our competition by providing the best solutions in the industry.
- Become a thought leader in distribution systems and automation.
- Assist in pursuing new clients for consulting services.
- Coordinate with specific resources (software engineers, controls engineers, CAD / Simulation Engineers, etc.) to prepare reports and proposals.
- Continue to enhance and refine the tools / methodologies we use.
- Maintain your education on a wide variety of material handling automation and simulation software areas.
- Provide excellent analysis of customer's operational data used to design superior processes and systems.
- Provide computer simulation modeling of proposed material handling systems.
- Build confidence with clients when making formal presentations.
- 20% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience with data analysis tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL) preferred.
- Understanding of supply chains and distribution or manufacturing systems is a plus
- Experience with computer simulation (FlexSim, Demo3D, Arena, etc.) a plus;
- Strong communication skills
- Must be eligible to work without need of sponsorship

Responsibilities
Develop client relationships and pursue consulting engagements and automation system sales using a consultative approach. Analyze operational data, design material handling processes and systems, model proposed systems through computer simulation, and coordinate with technical teams to prepare proposals and presentations.
Requirements
A bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Strong communication skills are required; experience with data analysis tools is preferred, while knowledge of supply chains, distribution or manufacturing systems, and computer simulation is an advantage.
