Requirements
- Senior Mechanical Engineer, ideally not purely site-based
- Experience with underground shaft sinking projects strongly preferred (though hard to find)
- Consulting engineering background (e.g., Stantec-type experience) would be a good fit
- Comfortable with design engineering work, plus occasional site visits
- Able to work on hoist systems and shaft sinking design
- Strong underground engineering expertise at the senior level is critical
- Will interact with a variety of disciplines across a ~60-engineer team, with much of the work driven by the structural team
- Involves meetings with clients and vendors to source equipment/services as needed
- Work will include study work for new clients, upcoming projects the company hopes to be awarded, and existing EPC projects (e.g., in Sudbury)

Responsibilities
Lead the design of hoist systems and shaft sinking projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Conduct study work for new clients and manage existing EPC projects, including coordinating with vendors and clients.
Requirements
Requires a senior-level mechanical engineer with strong expertise in underground engineering and shaft sinking projects. A background in consulting engineering and the ability to perform design work with occasional site visits is preferred.
