About You

About the Role

Marketing Operations owns the systems that turn marketing activity into pipeline: Salesforce campaigns, Pardot (Account Engagement) automation, lead scoring and routing, the integrations that connect them, and the reporting that proves what worked. Every event, launch, demo, and nurture the team runs passes through this seat before a lead reaches sales.

Reporting to the CMO, this role keeps the engine clean, measurable, and fast enough to support a small team that ships a lot. Works daily with Demand Gen, Customer Marketing, Content, the BDR team, and Sales Ops.

What You Will Be Doing Today

Campaign and lifecycle operations

Stand up every campaign in Salesforce and Pardot: campaign records, member statuses, lead sources, UTMs, form handlers, Engagement Studio nurtures.
Run pre-and post-event ops for field events, webinars, and live demos.
Own and manage the full lead lifecycle process and strategy, including lead scoring, grading, routing, territories, and the MQL handoff to sales, in partnership with Demand Gen.

Data quality and the Salesforce org

Keep the marketing side of Salesforce and Pardot clean: fields, picklists, sync, spam controls, quarterly cleanup, weekly error checks.
Be a power user of our own products (Complete Leads, Complete Clean, Complete Hierarchies, Data Agents) where they touch marketing data, and feed what you learn back to Product.
Own the martech stack: evaluations, implementations, offboarding, and the integrations that hold it together.

Reporting and attribution

Build and maintain the dashboards leadership uses: pipeline by source, campaign ROI, funnel conversion.
Own attribution. Be the person who can say what marketing sourced and influenced, with numbers leadership trusts.

AI and automation

Collaborate with the marketing team on their Claude setup: connectors, skills, and scheduled tasks. Build skills that let the team run reporting, campaign QA, and list hygiene themselves.
Hunt down manual work (list cleans, error checks, weekly reports, campaign setup) and automate it. Document what works, so it becomes a playbook.
Keep our SOPs and project management processes current, and turn the best of them into agents.

Where the Role Goes

Everyone has experienced change this year. The processes and systems we use today will look wildly different in the future. With more access to be efficient and effective than ever before, this role gets to be at the forefront of change for the wider team. Templatize campaign setup so a launch takes an hour, not a week. Redesign the lead lifecycle with the team, automating things we could never do before. Better understand attribution so we can better spend our money where it delivers. Then automate the queue: every recurring request becomes a Claude skill, a scheduled task, or a Data Agent.

What You Bring

Tractionites come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from non-traditional backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they bring:Must have

4+ years in marketing or revenue operations at a B2B SaaS company.
Hands-on Salesforce and Pardot (Account Engagement) skills: campaigns, fields, reports, Engagement Studio, automation rules, scoring and grading.
Has owned lead scoring, routing, and the MQL handoff end-to-end, including the definitional arguments with sales.
Builds reporting people use and can explain where every number came from.
Already uses AI tools to automate ops work, not just draft copy, and wants to go much further.
Organized under volume. Runs a full request queue without dropping the strategic project.

Nice to have

Outreach, UserGems, Zapier, or other ABM and sales engagement tooling.
Multi-touch attribution experience.
Salesforce Administrator or Pardot Specialist certification.

Compensation

Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions. The salary band for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience.

Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, and benefits.
