Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Reporting Analyst (Contract). In this position, you will play a key role in supporting recurring workforce reporting, position and recruiting analytics, and related HR data activities. The role maintains accurate workforce and, position data; and contributes to projects that improve reporting efficiency and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to reporting and process improvement projects, including data clean-up, and system modernization initiatives that improve access to workforce data and reduce manual reporting.
Conduct audits to support data accuracy and integrity, resolve irregularities and partnering with subject matter experts to correct identified discrepancies.
Create organization charts for internal use and to support business planning including the version for mainline as well as to support planning
Maintain position management data, including position attributes, reporting relationships, vacancies, changes, and approved position additions or updates, to support accurate workforce reporting and planning.
Develop, track, and forecast position budgets and costs,
Support position planning and forecasting in collaboration with Compensation, Finance, and business leaders.
Respond to business requests for employee lists, data extracts, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, appropriately formatted, and aligned to audience needs.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
Designation/Certifications, such as Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), World at Work is considered an asset.
1-3 years of progressive experience with compensation specific training such as World at Work.
Demonstrated experience/Proven ability/Strong understanding/Proficiency with Excel and basic statistical analysis.
A track record of delivering high‑quality work, managing competing priorities, and supporting key business processes or operational functions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to inclusive practices and a willingness to contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

Working Conditions
