Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendants, for an existing role for our Belleville, ON Location

Your Role
- You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
- You can provide outstanding customer service
- You have excellent communication skills
- We offer a competitive hourly pay of $19.50/ hour
- Must be available Monday - Sunday (12 Hour Shifts - 3 - 4 days per week)
Your Profile
You must possess the following qualifications:
- You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
- You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note, we provide BLS training if needed)
- You possess a valid G class driving license
- You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
- You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
- You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
- You are comfortable with 12hrs shifts
- You have night and weekend availability if requested

Responsibilities
Safely transport patients by stretcher or wheelchair to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patients and others.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid First Responder, Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant, or Emergency Medical Responder certification as specified, or be pursuing a Paramedic Diploma and have completed year one; valid BLS certification and a G-class driver's license are also required. Candidates must be able to lift over 250 pounds with a partner, communicate in English, have a clean driving record and criminal record screening, provide current immunization records, and be available for 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends when requested.
