  • Acquisitions & Sales: Negotiate, draft, and finalize agreements of purchase and sale, conveyancing documents, closing adjustments, and title transfer documentation for commercial properties across Ontario.
  • Commercial Leasing: Draft, review, and negotiate comprehensive commercial leases (retail, office, industrial) and related leasehold agreements on behalf of major landlords and corporate tenants.
  • Secured Financing: Act for lenders and corporate borrowers on commercial mortgage financings, acquisition financing, construction loans, and refinancing packages.
  • Title & Due Diligence: Direct and analyze complex title searches, off-title inquiries, corporate structure reviews, and environmental/zoning due diligence, resolving title defects and managing title insurance requirements.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, co-counsel, brokers, and stakeholders, providing practical legal advice aligned with business realities.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency with Teraview, ONLAND, title insurance platforms, and modern legal technology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong negotiation capabilities

Why This Opportunity

  • Sophisticated Work: Handle high-value, complex transactions for prominent corporate clients within a premier Toronto boutique
