Role Overview

Treefrog is seeking a Digital Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis to fill an existing role.

This role sits at the centre of our delivery operations, ensuring client projects are planned, executed, and handed off on time, on budget, and within agreed scope. You will serve as the primary project lead across a portfolio of digital engagements managing timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications from kickoff to completion.

The Digital Project Manager works cross-functionally with Design, Development, Digital Marketing, and Client Services to keep projects on track and clients informed throughout every phase of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Initiate, plan, manage, and execute digital projects from concept to completion - on time, on budget, and within agreed scope
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules with tasks, milestones, durations, resource assignments, billing dates, and effort tracking
  • Monitor project progress against plans, flag risk areas proactively, and escalate issues when needed
  • Ensure scope is clearly defined, agreed upon, and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate, accessible project documentation at every stage

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout project delivery - communicating proactively and managing expectations with clarity and professionalism
  • Build strong client relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and responsiveness
  • Provide input to proposals, SOWs, and estimates based on project specifications and team capacity
  • Support the Client Services and Sales teams with scoping questions, process explanations, and project feasibility assessments
  • Update leadership on project progress, produce status reports, and flag risk areas early

Resource & Process Management

  • Manage resource workloads and scheduling in collaboration with PMO colleagues, ensuring appropriate prioritization across projects
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to improvements by defining, recommending, and implementing new workflows or tools
  • Produce clear progress reports and status updates for internal leadership
  • Evaluate and adopt new project management tools and functionalities as the agency’s needs evolve

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Works closely with:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and relationships simultaneously without losing quality or attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - professional, clear, and client-ready
  • Experience writing and defining scope documentation, SOWs, and project budgets
  • Solid understanding of risk management and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to prepare and interpret Gantt charts, project schedules, and step-by-step action plans
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment and adapting quickly to shifting priorities
  • Working knowledge of digital channels and deliverables (web, apps, social media, digital marketing)
  • Sales and business analysis experience considered an asset
