Original job description

About us

Trexo Robotics is enabling mobility by building powered wearable robots. Our first product is a robot for children with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and it allows kids to walk, in many cases, for the first time in their lives. The device is currently being used by hundreds of families and the best hospitals across North America.

We are constantly working towards building mobility solutions for all. At Trexo Robotics, you will find a flat organization where you can work with highly optimistic, low ego, and exceptionally talented individuals who look forward to solving hard problems.

About the job

We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to own and execute Trexo’s event strategy across Canada and US. This role will lead the full lifecycle of event planning and execution, including conferences, roadshows , clinic-hosted trials and larger-scale community and partner events. You will ensure every event expands brand awareness, drives qualified leads, and creates meaningful opportunities for families to experience Trexo firsthand.

While the core of this role is hands-on event execution, partnership development, and lead generation, we are open to considering candidates at a Senior Manager level who bring substantial event marketing, healthcare, or medical device experience; in such cases, the title, scope, and base salary will be adjusted accordingly.

This is an existing vacancy as hybrid position, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office in Mississauga.

About you

You are a highly organized proactive event marketing professional. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can balance logistics with strategic marketing, and are comfortable building partnerships while ensuring flawless execution. You are both operationally strong and creatively driven, with the ability to maximize event impact through thoughtful promotion, strong relationship management, and performance tracking.

What you'll do

Own the full cycle of event planning and execution for conferences, Trexo roadshows, clinic partnerships, trials, and larger events
Build and manage Trexo’s event calendar, including where, when, and how events are deployed for maximum market impact
Coordinate all event logistics including scheduling, travel, setup, materials, and operational execution
Partner with clinics, hospitals, and community organizations to secure event locations and build long-term hosting relationships
Coordinate participant scheduling and management for Trexo device trials during events
Develop and execute promotional strategies to maximize attendance, awareness, and lead generation
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and leadership teams to align event goals with company growth objectives
Track event outcomes including attendance, lead quality, conversion, ROI, and strategic impact
Continuously improve event strategy based on performance data and market opportunities

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, field marketing, or similar roles
Proven success managing end-to-end events independently, including larger multi-stakeholder events
Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Experience building partnerships with external organizations such as clinics, healthcare providers, or community groups
Strong promotional and marketing execution skills across digital and offline channels
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, logistics, and ROI analysis
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a growing, mission-driven organization
Willingness to travel as needed for events

Nice to Have

Experience managing website updates for event promotion
Graphic design skills for brochures, promotional materials, and event collateral
Experience with CRM systems, event analytics, or marketing automation tools
Background in healthcare, medical devices, rehabilitation, or pediatric-focused industries

Work Authorization: Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or support work authorization applications. We can only consider candidates who already have the legal right to work in the location they are applying for.

AI in Recruitment: At Trexo Robotics, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support our recruitment process. AI helps with tasks like resume screening, drafting job descriptions, creating interview questions, and occasionally sourcing candidates. Final hiring decisions are always made by our team. Our goal is to use AI responsibly to streamline administrative tasks, improve candidate experience, and maintain fair, unbiased hiring practices aligned with industry standards.
