TriForce GC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Project values typically range from $500,000 to $10 million, with a portfolio consisting primarily of negotiated work and repeat business from established commercial clients.

Reporting directly to the Head of Construction, the Project Manager will assume full accountability for assigned projects from pre-construction through closeout, including project execution, financial performance, client relationships, risk management and overall project success.

This role is intended for an experienced commercial Project Manager who is comfortable leading projects with minimal oversight. Success in this position requires sound commercial judgement, strong financial discipline, decisive leadership and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, consultants and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Assume full accountability for the successful delivery and financial performance of multiple concurrent commercial construction projects valued between $10 to 15 million.

Develop and execute project plans, schedules, procurement strategies, budgets and financial forecasts.

Responsible for procurement activities, including RFP/RFI bidding, subcontractor tendering, scope reviews, negotiations and contract awards.

Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including forecasting, cost reporting, subcontract management, change management, cash flow and overall project profitability.

Lead all aspects of contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, progress claims and project documentation.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide leadership and direction to Site Superintendents, Project Coordinators and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

Identify project risks proactively, resolve issues decisively and implement solutions that protect project schedule, budget and client expectations; ensuring on time and within budget completion.

Chair project meetings, communicate effectively with all stakeholders and ensure timely follow-up on project deliverables.

Work directly with the CEO on project strategy, operational priorities and key client initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience delivering commercial construction projects.

Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple concurrent commercial construction projects valued between approximately $500,000 and $10 million.

Demonstrated experience with project budgeting, forecasting, procurement, scheduling, contract administration and project controls.

Strong understanding of CCDC contracts, construction methodologies and commercial project delivery.

Experience managing client relationships, consultant teams, subcontractors and suppliers throughout all phases of construction.

Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project (or equivalent scheduling software), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Valid Ontario driver's licence with the ability to travel to project sites throughout the GTA.

Experience delivering negotiated work and maintaining long-term commercial client relationships will be considered a strong asset.
