ABOUT US

At Trillium Health Partners Foundation (THPF), we're building a new kind of health care for a healthier community.

As the fundraising partner of Trillium Health Partners (THP), we inspire philanthropic investment to help transform health care for the more than 2.2 million people who rely on our hospital system every year. Trillium Health Partners includes Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre and is one of Canada's largest community-based, academically affiliated hospitals. As a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto and home to the Institute for Better Health, THP is driving innovation in patient care, research and education.

The communities we serve are among the fastest growing and most diverse in Canada. Demand for health care is increasing at an unprecedented pace, and the need for investment has never been greater. That's why Trillium Health Partners Foundation is leading “Built for Us”, a once-in-a-generation campaign to support one of the most ambitious health care transformations in Canadian history.

Together with our donors, partners and community, we are raising $1 billion to help build:

  • The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital - Canada's largest hospital
  • The Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children - Ontario's first hospital dedicated to women and children's health
  • The redevelopment of The Gilgan Family Queensway Health Centre

These transformational investments will help expand capacity, reduce wait times, accelerate research and innovation, harness leading-edge technology, and ensure world-class care remains close to home for generations to come.

Our Foundation team is made up of passionate, collaborative and results-driven professionals who are committed to making a meaningful impact through philanthropy. Together, we have helped secure some of the most significant gifts in Canadian health care history, including a historic $105 million gift from the Peter Gilgan Foundation, a transformational donation to name the Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children and a landmark $75 million corporate match from Orlando Corporation.

While we're proud of what we've accomplished, our most important work is still ahead of us. This is an exciting time to join THPF and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of health care in our community.
