Original job description

Who are we?

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world.

We are a multi-award-winning organisation, with a global 2,500+ strong team across 12 studios.

Our expanded portfolio includes some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, collectively reaching top chart positions around the world and engaging over 25 million daily active users.

Tripledot’s guiding principle is that when people love what they do, what they do will be loved by others.

We’re building a company we’re proud of. One filled with driven, incredibly smart and detail-orientated people, who LOVE making games.

Our ambition is to be the most successful games company in the world, and we’re just getting started.

This role sits within our Peoplefun studio.

PeopleFun is an award-winning creator of mobile games for players across the globe. We are part of the AppLovin studios family, a publicly traded company, with world-class projects, resources, and infrastructure. PeopleFun is a Dallas-based game studio founded and maintained by game industry veterans, where game developers thrive on collaboration, creativity, teamwork and fun. Our games are played by over 25 million players each month, and we have a number of exciting mid-core and casual games in development. Our mission is twofold: excellence in creativity and data-driven product innovation, and to be a best-in-class workplace providing unique opportunities to learn and exercise curiosity.

Job Summary

PeopleFun is seeking a Lead Product Manager to help shape the next chapter of Wordscapes, our flagship word game with more than 100M Google Play downloads. This role will own product strategy for a proven live game and identify the experiences and systems that will keep it growing.

You will lead the LiveOps pod, own and prioritize the LiveOps roadmap, and shape a sustainable cadence of features, events, content, offers, and experiments. The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment, hands-on analysis, and the ability to balance near-term performance with long-term player value.

Responsibilities

Own product management for Wordscapes and lead the cross-functional pod responsible for the game’s roadmap, execution, and performance.
Drive sustainable growth by improving recurring engagement, retention, and monetization across the player lifecycle.
Own and prioritize the LiveOps roadmap and calendar, balancing recurring events, content, offers, experiments, and larger feature investments.
Own key game KPIs and use player, cohort, funnel, segment, event, and feature data to identify opportunities and make product decisions.
Partner with Design, Production, Engineering, and Analytics to deliver features, events, content, offers, and experiments with clear goals, success metrics, and guardrails.
Own and evolve the game economy, progression systems, rewards, and offers to support player motivation, retention, monetization, and long-term game health.
Review event and feature performance, identify follow-up actions, and apply learnings to future LiveOps cycles and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (graduate degree preferred) in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
3+ years of experience in game product management, ideally on a scaled free-to-play mobile game or long-running live product.
Proven experience owning LiveOps for a free-to-play game and improving retention, engagement, or monetization through recurring events, content, offers, or features.
Experience owning a product roadmap and leading a cross-functional team through strategy, execution, measurement, and follow-through.
Strong understanding of free-to-play business models, LiveOps, game economies, and monetization systems.
Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyze cohorts, funnels, segments, and experiments and translate insights into product decisions.
Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, including defining hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and follow-up actions.
Strong prioritization, initiative, judgment, and communication skills, with the ability to make clear decisions as information and priorities evolve.
Ability to travel to the Dallas office 3-4 times per year.
