Role Description

The OPP & Government Support provides front-line support for OPP and government-related programs. This role is primarily responsible for handling calls, emails, intake items, follow-ups, and service requests from OPP constituents, applicants, government applicants, and government users through approved service channels. This role supports the Police Innovations vertical by ensuring assigned OPP and government-related inquiries are handled accurately, professionally, discreetly, and within defined service timelines.

Regular duties:

OPP Constituent and Applicant Support

Respond to assigned calls and emails from OPP constituents and applicants through approved service channels.

Provide timely, accurate, and professional support related to OPP service questions, application status, intake requirements, next steps, and general process guidance.

Maintain professionalism, discretion, patience, and accuracy when supporting constituents and applicants.

Ensure assigned inquiries are progressed through to resolution or documented handoff.

Escalate sensitive, urgent, complex, or out-of-scope issues with complete context.

Government Applicant and User Support

Support government applicants and users with service, platform, workflow, application intake, and next-step questions as assigned.

Respond to assigned GOV-related inquiries within defined service timelines.

Assist with government user support, service navigation, and process guidance where within role scope.

Identify incomplete information, unclear requests, system issues, user challenges, or workflow concerns and escalate where required.

Follow approved workflows, templates, communication standards, privacy expectations, and escalation paths.

Intake, Follow-Up, and Service Timeline Support

Support assigned OPP, GOV, intake, follow-up, and service-related work within defined service timelines.

Prioritize assigned calls, emails, intake items, support tasks, and follow-ups according to service timelines, urgency, and Coordinator direction.

Monitor assigned requests and open items to ensure work continues moving toward completion.

Complete follow-ups within expected timelines.

Escalate risks before service timelines are missed.

Systems, Documentation, and Accuracy

Use required daily systems, including the Triton portal, CRM, ticketing, internal workflow, case management, or other approved tools, to document work, update statuses, track ownership, and support follow-through.

Ensure OPP, GOV, applicant, constituent, government-user, intake, and follow-up activity is documented accurately before work is considered complete.

Maintain complete, professional, and traceable records that reflect Triton's service standards and expectations.

Complete clear documented handoffs when work must move to another person or team.

Escalation and Issue Identification

Escalate sensitive, complex, high-risk, urgent, or out-of-scope issues to the Coordinator or Manager with clear context and supporting details.

Identify recurring OPP, GOV, applicant, constituent, government-user, system, process, or service trends that may require review.

Coordinate with Processing, Applicant Experience, Client Experience, Product, or other internal teams where assigned OPP or government work requires cross-functional support.

Cross-Functional Support Within Police Innovations

Support the Police Partnerships & Vendor Support stream when partner onboarding, vendor support, service demand, queue volume, or coverage needs require additional assistance.

Assist with assigned police partner, vendor, onboarding, training coordination, launch support, hyper-care, aftercare, or police-facing service tasks when directed by the Coordinator or Manager.

Maintain flexibility to support the broader Police Innovations vertical while remaining primarily aligned to OPP & Government Support.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience working in a high volume environment
2–3 years of customer service experience
Experience handling sensitive and confidential customer information
Experience using customer service software, such as CRM or ticketing systems
Fluency in English; French is an asset
