Original job description

Title: Project Manager, Glazing

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Company: Triumph Group of Companies

Role Overview

The Project Manager, Glazing leads the full lifecycle of commercial and residential glazing projects across the GTA, from preconstruction planning through to close-out. You will manage project budgets, control costs, build and maintain schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and general contractors throughout the project lifecycle. This role works closely with site supervisors, estimators, and division leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget across a mixed portfolio of curtain wall, storefront, and window wall systems. At the end of the day, good work here means your clients trust you, your projects close without surprises, and the teams on site have what they need to get the work done. The people who thrive in this role take ownership of their projects without needing to be chased, communicate clearly when things change, and know how to push work forward while keeping clients and contractors on side.

What We Offer

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Comprehensive health and dental benefits
Hybrid work arrangement with regular site visits across the GTA
Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for site travel
Stable, year-round work with a growing glazing division
Opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential glazing projects
Supportive leadership and a team that values direct, practical communication

What You Bring to the Table

Technical Skills

5 to 8 years of project management experience in the glazing, fenestration, or building envelope industry
Solid working knowledge of glazing systems including curtain wall, window wall, storefront, and residential window programs
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, glazing specifications, and shop drawings
Proficiency with Procore or a comparable construction project management platform for scheduling, submittals, RFI tracking, and cost management
Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field; PMP designation is an asset

Attributes

You stay on top of multiple active projects at once and keep clients and general contractors informed without waiting to be asked
You take ownership of budget and schedule performance and are comfortable explaining variances and corrective actions when they come up
You build working relationships with clients, GCs, and trades that make projects easier to run and set the foundation for repeat work
You communicate directly and clearly, whether you are dealing with a scope change, a site issue, or a difficult conversation with a client
You hold a high standard on the work and push back when something is not right, even when it is the easier path to let it go

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of commercial and residential glazing projects from award through to close-out, including curtain wall, window wall, and storefront systems
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating sequencing with site supervisors, suppliers, and general contractors to keep work on track
Control project budgets by tracking costs against the approved budget, reviewing purchase orders, and reporting variances to division leadership in a timely manner
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and product data sheets to confirm compliance with project specifications and design intent
Manage the RFI and change order process, coordinating with estimating and site teams to assess scope impacts and price changes accurately
Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules with suppliers to support installation sequencing and avoid site delays
Conduct regular site visits in collaboration with site supervisors to monitor installation progress, quality, and safety compliance
Prepare and present project status reports to division leadership, identifying risks, schedule impacts, and cost exposures early
Support project close-out activities including deficiency resolution, final inspections, and documentation handover to the client
