Triunity Software is looking for a talented and driven Senior Java Developer to join our growing team in Toronto, ON. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in software development and architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the full stack
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
