We are looking for an experienced Aviation Cybersecurity Engineering Professional to support cybersecurity certification, airworthiness, and continuing airworthiness activities across existing and new aircraft development platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define aircraft and system-level cybersecurity requirements
- Assess supplier system architectures and cybersecurity protection measures
- Review aircraft cybersecurity architecture, identify vulnerabilities, and evaluate risks
- Support cybersecurity penetration testing on aircraft and system rigs
- Lead cybersecurity incident investigations and deficiency resolution
- Prepare and review design compliance reports
- Support Transport Canada Design Authority Delegates with compliance activities
- Collaborate with Avionics, RMAS, Completions, AWOR, Customer Support, and other teams
- Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews
- Maintain and improve aviation cybersecurity processes
- Represent the organization at cybersecurity conferences and industry committees
- Contribute to the evolution of the Aircraft Cybersecurity (CYBR) roadmap
- Mentor less experienced cybersecurity professionals
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Software, IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience
• 2+ years of cybersecurity experience involving networks and systems
• 2+ years of aerospace experience
- Knowledge of computer networks, electronics, operating systems, and software programming
- Understanding of aircraft system integration and civil aircraft certification
- Knowledge of IT and/or Aviation Information Security Management System principles
