What You’ll Do
Production Operator plays a vital role in contributing to the production of high-quality livestock feed through the operations of bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities at Rosenort, MB. - Operate production machinery and identify areas to optimize production performance
- Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
- Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
- Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
- Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action
- 2 - 3 years of manufacturing experience is an asset
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work in 6 am -2 pm or 2 pm – 10 pm
- Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
- Ability to focus on details within a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to the elements, noise and dust, and working at heights
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities
Operate production equipment and support bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping to produce high-quality livestock feed and maintain uninterrupted operations. Meet production targets and quality and food safety standards, record production data, perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs, and respond appropriately to unsafe conditions.
Requirements
Two to three years of manufacturing experience is an asset, along with good computer skills and the ability to work either the 6 a.m.–2 p.m. or 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift. The role requires regularly lifting 25 kg, working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to weather, noise, dust, and heights, and having strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
