🚗 SAP S/4HANA Controlling Consultant | Automotive | 6-Month Contract
I’m currently looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Controlling Consultant to join a pilot S/4HANA project for a leading automotive supplier.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP Finance professional to play a key role in an S/4HANA implementation, working within an established template and target architecture.
📅 Start: October 2026
⏳ Contract: 6 months
📍 Location: Remote + 1 week per month in Toronto
🌎 Ideal locations: Brazil, Michigan or Toronto
💼 Experience: 5+ years SAP experience
🚗 Automotive experience: MANDATORY
🏭 Automotive supplier experience: Highly preferred
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Solution design within the existing SAP template
- Assessing requirements and making configuration changes to conform with the existing template and target architecture
- Supporting SAP CO configuration and solution development
- Supporting data migration activities
- Working closely with business stakeholders and the wider project team
- Supporting testing and issue resolution
- Providing hypercare support following go-live
- Ensuring solutions remain aligned with the established S/4HANA target architecture
📊 Strong Controlling Focus
The ideal consultant will have strong hands-on experience across SAP CO, including:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Cost Element Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Profit Center Accounting
- Product Cost Controlling
You should be comfortable working across the full lifecycle of the project, from solution design and configuration through to data migration and post-go-live support.
💰 Financial Accounting Knowledge
In addition to the strong Controlling background, experience across SAP Financial Accounting is Highly beneficial but not mandatory, including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank Accounting
- Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
- Intercompany processes
- Data uploads for Group Reporting
Knowledge of Canadian legal requirements would be an advantage.
👤 About You
I’m looking for a hands-on SAP S/4HANA Controlling consultant with 5+ years of experience, ideally someone who has worked on S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects within the automotive sector.
Automotive experience is mandatory, and experience working for an automotive supplier would be a significant advantage.
