Original job description
Calgary, AB • Part-Time
True Padel Club is Calgary’s premier indoor padel destination. We’re building a world-class experience for players of all ages and levels - and we’re looking for the right person to be the welcoming face of our club.
As our Reception / Front Desk Associate, you’ll greet players, support daily operations, and help maintain a clean, energetic, and organized environment. If you’re friendly, proactive, and love being part of a growing sports community, we’d love to meet you.
ScheduleWe operate 7 days a week with two main shifts. Ideally as a part-time employee, you'd have the availability to cover 2 to 3 shifts a week:
- Morning: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Afternoon/Evening: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
- Daily handover/coordination with the Sports Manager at 3:00 pm.
- Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $18.00 (based on experience)
- Free off-peak court bookings to play Padel
- A fun, active work environment in a brand-new facility
- Welcome members and guests, manage check-ins, and process payments.
- Handle bookings, cancellations, and guest passes using our club app.
- Manage WhatsApp groups and other communication channels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Support tournaments, social events, and open houses.
- Track lost & found items and monitor inventory and supplies.
- Collaborate with the Sports Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
A clean club is part of the True Padel experience. Daily tasks include:
- Cleaning padel court glass daily (inside & outside).
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all common areas (lounge, gym, coworking, walkways).
- Maintaining washroom cleanliness (toilets, sinks, mirrors, restocking supplies).
- Keeping all floors dry, safe, and hazard-free.
- Emptying trash and recycling at the end of each shift.
- Sanitizing bar and counter areas.
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly to the Sports Manager.
You have a friendly, service-minded personality. You’re organized, reliable, comfortable with technology, and ready to be part of a sports environment that’s growing fast. Experience in hospitality, fitness, or customer service is a plus, but attitude and work ethic matter most. If you’re energized by the idea of joining Calgary’s first full-scale padel club, we’d love to hear from you.
