About the Role
Join a cybersecurity product team building experimental tools and foundational infrastructure for the U.S. defense industrial base. This hands-on, product-focused role spans the full software lifecycle and offers meaningful technical leadership and ownership.
What You'll Do
Develop full-stack product features and foundational infrastructure.
Contribute to planning, design, deployment, and ongoing optimization, taking ownership across the product lifecycle.
Build with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails, with opportunities to use Rust or Node.js on new products.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners in an iterative environment.
Mentor engineers and help shape team practices and culture.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of full-stack software development experience, with technical depth appropriate to a senior or staff-level role.
Production experience with TypeScript and a modern object-oriented backend language, and willingness to contribute hands-on regularly.
Experience leading multi-engineer projects and mentoring engineers.
Strong ownership, ability to move quickly, and comfort working with early-stage products and evolving requirements.
Interest in cybersecurity and willingness to work on products serving the U.S. defense industrial base.
Strong computer science fundamentals or equivalent senior-level experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $210,000 to $260,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid, Canada. The role requires working in a hybrid arrangement.
