Position: Full-time, in-office
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Reports to: Marketing Director
This is an in-office position. Hybrid and work-from-home arrangements are not available. Local
travel and occasional evening and weekend work are required.
About the Opportunity
Truman’s portfolio includes new homes, rental communities, mixed-use destinations and an expanding
hospitality business. We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to turn business
priorities into effective campaigns, well-run events and practical support for Sales and Leasing.
Working with the Marketing Director, you will own day-to-day project delivery from brief through launch and follow-up. You will bring ideas, spot gaps, solve problems and keep the details moving in a fastpaced environment.
You will guide the daily work of paid/email and social/content colleagues, alongside experienced
design and web specialists. Good judgment, a strong eye for presentation and dependable followthrough will help you deliver marketing that attracts the right buyers and renters.
What You Will Own
Campaign planning and delivery
- Turn approved priorities into campaign plans with a clear audience, message, offer, next step and timeline across web, email, advertising, social, listings, print and events.
- Recommend ways to improve community visibility, communicate value and generate qualified enquiries, using campaign results and feedback from Sales and Leasing.
- Own the marketing calendar, production schedules and Marketing Requests workflow: clarify needs, coordinate contributors, track approvals and confirm delivery with requesters.
- Resolve routine issues early and bring practical options to the Marketing Director when priorities, budgets or resources need a decision.
Team coordination and creative review
- Guide campaign and content delivery with paid/email and social/content colleagues, coordinating workloads, setting expectations and giving constructive feedback.
- Prepare clear briefs for designers, web specialists and vendors, and consolidate feedback so work can move efficiently through production.
- Review copy, design, imagery and brand consistency. Check approved pricing, conditions, contacts, maps, links, calls to action and mobile presentation before release.
- Approve routine materials within agreed briefs and delegated authority. Record required approvals and escalate sensitive claims, material changes or unresolved concerns.
Photography, video and marketing assets
- Schedule photographers, videographers, drone/Matterport providers and internal content capture.
- Prepare shot lists and coordinate access, staging, site readiness and permissions.
- Support shoots on location, resolve production issues and coordinate edits and reusable assets for listings, websites, advertising, social and sales tools.
- Maintain recurring construction and project updates, securing accurate milestones, imagery and approved information from project teams before publication.
- Keep approved assets, editable files, usage permissions and production records organized and accessible with creative colleagues.
Events, showhome openings and community programming
- Plan and deliver showhome openings, Realtor events, rental activations, community events and assigned corporate or hospitality initiatives, with practical plans and approved budgets.
- Coordinate suppliers, staffing, promotion, registration, setup, teardown and on-site delivery. Prepare run sheets and contingencies for operational changes.
- Work with Sales and Leasing on clear product presentation, approved lead capture and consent, and a named prospect follow-up owner. Review costs and available results afterwards.
- Coordinate marketing delivery for year-round West District programming with the planning group, local businesses and community partners.
Sales, leasing and community presentation
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to understand priorities, prospect questions and the resources needed to support conversion.
- Coordinate brochures, floor and lot plans, maps, product guides, signage and photography that clearly explain the homes, communities and Truman value.
- Arrange showhome/property marketing reviews and resolve approved visibility, directions, signage and collateral needs, including production, installation and removal.
- Secure approved inventory, pricing and offer information from the responsible owners. Coordinate accurate listings and website updates, replacing outdated offers and recording approvals.
Digital experience
- Apply working knowledge of websites, email, social, listings and analytics to planning and quality checks; specialists retain technical implementation and channel execution.
- Check enquiry routes, forms, booking prompts and directions. Coordinate corrections with the responsible specialist and verify fixes before launch.
- Work with paid/email colleagues on relevant audiences, messaging and consistent campaign source labels. Review reports and field feedback to recommend improvements.
- Update the Marketing Director on delivery, costs, risks and decisions needed, distinguishing traffic and engagement from verified enquiries, appointments and business outcomes.
Partnerships, sponsorships and marketing operations
- Maintain supplier, land-developer, builder-group and community relationships, coordinating shared marketing opportunities and documenting commitments and next steps.
- Coordinate sponsorship assets, approved brand use, benefits, credits and ticket/prize fulfilment within agreed terms and approval processes.
- Maintain Google Business Profile accuracy and review-request resources with property teams and authorized owners; coordinate responses and escalation with appropriate colleagues.
- Compare quotations, track approved spending, check deliverables and invoices, and improve practical checklists and handoffs that support continuity.
What You Bring
- Approximately five years of relevant marketing experience, or an equivalent record of independently delivering campaigns and projects in a busy environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects from brief through launch and review, plus practical event, vendor and on-site production coordination.
- Commercial judgment, initiative and resourcefulness: you understand the audience, recommend solutions and adapt calmly as priorities change.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading, with a good eye for design, imagery, detail and brand presentation.
- Confidence guiding colleagues, providing constructive feedback and building effective crossfunctional and external relationships.
- Working knowledge of website/CMS operations, graphic production, social best practices, email/CRM and digital measurement, sufficient to brief specialists and check work.
- Comfort with Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, project-management tools, Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) applications for straightforward updates and review.
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Experience that would be valuable
- Real estate, leasing, hospitality, construction or multi-site marketing experience, with knowledge of Calgary and surrounding communities.
- Familiarity with ActiveCampaign, Google Analytics, advertising reports, RentFaster or Google Business Profiles
- Photo, video, print or sponsorship experience
- Thoughtful use of AI and workflow tools, supported by fact checking, brand judgment and responsible information handling.
