Original job description
Strategic Account Executive – Enterprise (Toronto/GTA)
Location: Toronto/GTA (hybrid / in-office) · Full-time · Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Have you sold fintech into Canada’s Big-5 banks and built relationships that open doors in retail/consumer Credit or Risk? We’re looking for you.
Trust Science® helps lenders find, assess and approve more good borrowers using AI-powered credit scoring. We build on traditional, alternative and cashflow data, with explainable results for regulated institutions. As one example, we recently landed a Master Services Agreement with the entire TD Bank Group.
We’re hiring a senior, hands-on Strategic Account Executive to lead our relationships with Canada’s largest banks. This is an individual contributor role with no team to manage. You’ll bring executive presence and preexisting bank relationships, and work across our leadership, Product and Customer Success teams to win and grow strategic accounts.
What you’ll do
- Open and grow strategic relationships across Canada’s Big-5 banks, focused on Credit/Risk, IT/Operations and Marketing teams
- Lead long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles: executive sponsorship, business cases, procurement, vendor onboarding and third-party risk review
- Engage senior bank executives credibly on credit decisioning, approval rates, model explainability and growth
- Build account plans and a disciplined, accurate pipeline forecast
- Partner with Product and Customer Success to turn first wins into long-term, expanding relationships
- Represent Trust Science at industry events and in person with clients
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales selling fintech, data, analytics or decisioning solutions to banks
- Deep, current relationships inside one or more Big-5 banks as a fintech vendor, specifically in Credit/Risk (not I.T./Ops, Wealth, Insurance or FP&A)
- Executive presence: you’re comfortable in the room with VPs and C-suite, and they’re comfortable with you
- Experience navigating bank procurement, security and vendor-risk processes
- Solid understanding of credit, underwriting and risk workflows on the Retail/Consumer side of a bank.
- An owner’s mindset in a lean, growth-stage company
Why Trust Science
- A strategic seat with direct impact on our largest opportunities
- Help Canada’s biggest lenders approve more good borrowers, responsibly
- A small, mission-driven team where your relationships and judgment shape the company’s path
If this sounds like you, apply here or message me directly.
Referrals welcome.
