Job Description:
We are seeking an IMA Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Capital Markets transformation and Market Risk, including IMA components, and a proven ability to deliver complex, front-to-back regulatory initiatives and stakeholder outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead transformation and change initiatives focused on Capital Markets to address regulatory, audit, risk and control, and risk management objectives.
- Engage senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across trading, finance, operations, technology, and risk to align on scope and delivery.
- Gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements and partner with Technology to translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control, and Technology teams.
- Identify challenges, risks, and issues; drive timely resolution or escalation with clear articulation to stakeholders and PMs.
- Produce accurate, insightful project updates and artifacts tailored to forums and committees.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships to support joined-up execution across programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven delivery within IMA, including components such as ES, NMRF, RFET, and PLAT.
- Strong Market Risk expertise with familiarity in HVaR model management; understanding of regulatory capital and Market Risk (VaR) or Credit Risk.
- Experience with FRTB and front-office-driven regulatory initiatives.
- Knowledge of derivatives trading, risk, and P&L flows.
- Track record of strategic project management and delivery of complex solutions in Capital Markets transformation.
- Excellent written and oral communication; able to provide clear, persuasive updates to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive change across a global organization and balance diverse perspectives; strong performance tracking and communication discipline.
- Analytical problem solver with effective follow-up and issue resolution skills.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant industry experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; master’s degree preferred.
- Project Management certifications such as PMP or equivalent.
- Experience with JIRA and Agile delivery frameworks.
