SAP Program Delivery Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Program Delivery Lead to drive the successful execution of a complex SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation Program. This individual will be accountable for providing overall program leadership, ensuring effective delivery management, governance, vendor oversight, financial control, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment to achieve the organization's strategic and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of project delivery, including project initiation, planning, execution, implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
• Define and maintain effective governance frameworks, integrated project schedules, key milestones, and delivery performance measures.
• Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and expectations.
• Lead vendor relationship and commercial management, including contract negotiations, scope changes, and performance oversight.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resource constraints.
• Monitor financial performance through budget management, cost tracking, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and present executive communications and reporting on overall delivery progress, key decisions, risks, and financial performance.
• Maintain alignment between program execution, PMO standards, executive direction, and organizational priorities.
• Build and lead collaborative, cross-functional teams while managing stakeholder relationships and addressing escalated delivery challenges.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to project teams to strengthen accountability, collaboration, and delivery performance.

Knowledge, Experience & Competencies

• University degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA and professional certifications such as PMP or Agile are considered assets.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing SAP implementation programs, with significant hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
• Demonstrated success leading at least two complete SAP implementation lifecycles.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions, enterprise systems, and business process transformation.
• Strong command of project delivery frameworks, Agile methodologies, program governance, and enterprise architecture practices.
• Extensive experience directing complex transformation initiatives, including financial management, vendor relationships, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong business and strategic perspective, with the ability to connect technology solutions to organizational priorities and tangible business benefits.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and negotiate effectively with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships, facilitate consensus, navigate complex challenges, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a proactive, accountable, and outcome-focused approach to program delivery.
