  • Prepare piping layouts, equipment arrangements, piping plans, sections, elevations, and detailed design drawings.
  • Route piping systems based on process requirements, equipment locations, design specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Incorporate piping specifications, material requirements, line classifications, and design criteria into the model and associated deliverables.
  • Apply appropriate design practices to address accessibility, operability, maintainability, constructability, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and resolve routing conflicts, spatial constraints, and potential interferences within the piping model.
  • Review and incorporate engineering markups, design changes, and updated project information into models and drawings.
  • Support the development of piping isometrics, material take-offs, and other piping design deliverables as required.

Engineering Coordination & Interface Management
  • Coordinate piping design activities with process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary model reviews, design coordination meetings, and clash detection activities.
  • Identify design interfaces and resolve model discrepancies in collaboration with relevant discipline leads and project stakeholders.
  • Incorporate equipment data, vendor drawings, piping specifications, and engineering inputs into the piping design.
