This part-time, contract-based, on-site role involves creating and editing a variety of formats, including reaction videos, mini-documentaries, podcast episodes, and social media clips. You will collaborate closely to capture and shape content that resonates with audiences, ensuring comedic timing, clean storytelling, and platform-optimized formatting. - Edit long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, ensuring strong comedic pacing and narrative clarity
- Repurpose podcast and documentary footage into compelling clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok
- Add captions and graphics where appropriate to enhance engagement and accessibility
- Operate camera equipment for in-person shoots, capturing high-quality footage for various content types
- Collaborate on creative direction and incorporate feedback to refine edits and maintain consistency with the channel’s style
- Deliver final assets in platform-ready formats, adhering to technical specifications for each social platform
- Proven experience editing comedy, reaction, podcast, documentary, or creator-channel content, with a portfolio showcasing both long-form and short-form work
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong sense of comedic timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Experience with documentary-style editing and social-first content creation
- Ability to operate camera equipment for on-site shoots
- Familiarity with formatting and optimizing content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment
- Availability for part-time, on-site contract work in a flexible, project-based capacity
