This role involves building a custom, responsive web application designed to provide a seamless customer experience across both mobile and desktop platforms. The project requires the development of secure user authentication features, including sign-up, login, and password reset, as well as a self-service dashboard that aligns with the existing brand’s modern aesthetic. Additionally, an admin area must be created for managing users, content, orders, and generating reports. The application will integrate online payment solutions and external tools to streamline business operations.

Deliverables

  • Develop a responsive web application with secure customer authentication (sign-up, login, password reset)
  • Design and implement a self-service dashboard for customers
  • Build an admin area for user, content, order, and report management
  • Integrate Stripe or PayPal for online payments
  • Set up automated transactional emails (welcome messages, payment receipts)
  • Integrate with external tools such as a CRM or Google Sheets
  • Use a maintainable stack (Python or Node.js with React or Next.js)
  • Ensure sound database design and robust API integrations
  • Provide an initial requirements call and regular progress updates with a preview link
  • Deliver clearly documented source code, handover files, and simple usage instructions
  • Offer two weeks of post-launch support for fixes

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing full stack web applications using Python or Node.js with React or Next.js
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and modern UI/UX best practices
  • Experience with secure authentication and user management systems
  • Proficiency in integrating payment gateways (Stripe or PayPal)
  • Familiarity with transactional email setup and third-party API integrations (e.g., CRM, Google Sheets)
  • Solid database design and implementation skills
  • Ability to deliver clean, well-documented code and clear handover documentation
  • Excellent communication skills for requirements gathering and progress updates
  • Availability for an initial requirements call, regular updates, and two weeks of post-launch support
