Ultreia Tech is recruiting an IT Support Technician – Level 2 on behalf of a well-established organization in the Greater Montreal area.

Your Responsibilities

Level 2 User Support

Handle Level 2 incidents and service requests.
Provide advanced technical support to users for workstations, business applications, collaboration tools, and IT equipment.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex incidents requiring Level 2 expertise.
Ensure rigorous follow-up on open tickets and keep them updated according to service standards.
Collaborate with higher-level support teams and management during incident and request escalations.

Incident and Request Management

Prioritize and classify incidents and service requests based on urgency and impact.
Ensure compliance with SLOs/SLAs and resolution timelines established.
Fully document diagnostics, interventions, and solutions in the ticketing system.
Monitor and expedite tickets related to information security, according to the established rotation.
Identify recurring incidents and proactively contribute to their resolution.

Identity and Access Management

Contribute to the management of user identities and access rights.
Create, modify, and deactivate user profiles and accounts in accordance with established processes.
Perform required access changes for new hires, transfers, promotions, and departures.
Ensure compliance with security policies and access management procedures.

Workstations and IT Asset Management

Configure, deploy, and maintain workstations and IT equipment.
Perform software updates, installations, and security patch deployments.
Diagnose and resolve Level 2 hardware and software issues.
Support IT processes related to new hires, transfers, promotions, and departures (MACD), including asset movements.
Manage IT asset movements, inventory, and chargebacks according to established procedures.
Ensure the recycling, organization, and maintenance of hardware assets and IT equipment areas.

AV/VC Support

Provide technical support for meeting rooms and video conferencing equipment.
Perform monthly checks to ensure AV/VC equipment is functioning properly, according to the established rotation.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to audiovisual and video conferencing equipment or escalate them to the appropriate teams.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement

Document, maintain, and enhance the knowledge base, technical procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Continuously analyze and improve IT support procedures and processes to optimize service quality and efficiency.
Share technical knowledge with team members and contribute to the standardization of best practices.

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in IT support
Strong hands-on experience with Office 365, Windows 11, Active Directory, and ServiceNow
Comfortable configuring and troubleshooting audiovisual (AV) equipment in meeting rooms
Bilingual: fully comfortable working in both French and English (the team supports users across Canada)
A proactive and hands-on approach, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with macOS

Gestion des identités et des accès

Contribuer à la gestion des identités et des accès des utilisateurs.
Créer, modifier et désactiver les profils et comptes utilisateurs conformément aux processus établis.
Effectuer les modifications d’accès requises lors des arrivées, transferts, promotions et départs.
Veiller au respect des politiques de sécurité et des procédures de gestion des accès.

Postes de travail et gestion des actifs TI

Configurer, déployer et maintenir les postes de travail et équipements TI.
Effectuer les mises à jour logicielles, installations et déploiements de correctifs de sécurité (patching).
Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes matériels et logiciels de niveau 2.
Soutenir les processus TI liés aux arrivées, transferts, promotions et départs (MACD), incluant les mouvements d’actifs.
Gérer les mouvements, l’inventaire et la contre-facturation des actifs TI selon les procédures établies.
Assurer le recyclage, l’organisation et l’entretien des actifs matériels et des espaces dédiés aux équipements TI.

Soutien AV/VC

Assurer le soutien technique des salles de réunion et des équipements de visioconférence.
Effectuer une validation mensuelle du bon fonctionnement des équipements AV/VC selon la rotation établie.
