- Install electrical controls and panel boxes
- Install underground wiring and cables
- Splice, join and connect wires
- Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults
- Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
- Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
- Supervise other workers
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Responsibilities
Install electrical controls, panel boxes, underground wiring, and surface-mounted or overhead cables, and connect wires. Test electrical systems, troubleshoot and isolate faults, install power generation and conditioning systems, interpret technical plans, and supervise other workers.
Requirements
A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a one- to two-year program, or equivalent experience, is listed as the education requirement. Experience is an asset, and English is the stated language.
