Primary Purpose:
The Team Lead supports safe and efficient daily production operations by coordinating workflow, guiding and training employees, monitoring work quality, and ensuring established production schedules and company procedures are followed. This role maintains a regular floor presence, conducts work inspections, audits documentation, and supports accurate system data entry while promoting a culture of safety, respect, and accountability.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate tasks and guide employees to ensure they remain on task
- Monitor daily workflow for set production schedules
- Be regularly present on the floor to support smooth daily operations
- Assist with training employees Audit paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Perform daily work inspections to ensure safe & proper practices are being followed
- Data entry into MaintainX system Adheres to company quality processes, as applicable
- Aligns with all company policies, rules and guidelines
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma
- No safety infractions or preventable incidents within the last 6 months
- Previous working experience in all areas of production (solvent room, rail, etc.)
- Ability to lead with safety, ethics, and respect in the workplace Multifaceted training and mentoring skills with a strong ability to adapt to different training needs
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational, mathematical, computer, and clerical skills SAP knowledge is considered an asset
