Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.
The Department of Computing Science invites applications for a full-time Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) member to teach courses in our Data Science program. The list of courses the ATS member may be required to teach includes:
- CMPUT 174 - Introduction to the Foundations of Computing I
- CMPUT 175 - Introduction to the Foundations of Computing II
- CMPUT 191 - Introduction to Data Science
- CMPUT 195 - Introduction to Principles and Techniques of Data Science
- CMPUT 200 - Responsible Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
- CMPUT 291 - Introduction to File and Database Management

Qualifications
The appointment requires a M.Sc. degree in a closely related discipline to data science or computing science. Successful teaching experience, especially in the context of data-science oriented courses, is an asset.
