TRANSFORMATIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING
Transformative Teaching and Learning is a unit within UNB's Centre for Learning Futures and supports innovative teaching and learning approaches across all modes of program and course delivery. The unit specialises in faculty support and development, the development and maintenance of: audio/visual media in UNB's classrooms, and instructional technology in both classroom and online learning environments. The unit also helps to create cutting-edge media for teaching and learning purposes. Transformative Teaching and Learning works in close collaboration with other units in Centre for Learning Futures, like UNB Online and the Office of Experiential Education.

Salary Range: $24.97 - $29.76 per hour
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Director, Transformative Teaching and Learning (TTL), the Administrative Coordinator provides efficient, professional, confidential and comprehensive support for financial, administrative, and human resource aspects of the bi-campus unit. This position will support and contribute to the overall strategic direction of Transformative Teaching and Learning and ensures smooth effective operation of all administrative and financial aspects of the department.
- Manage financial administration, including budgeting, financial reporting, funding agreements, invoice processing, procurement card reconciliation, and compliance monitoring.
- Support annual budget planning, trust fund administration, and financial process improvements aligned with university policies and schedules.
- Coordinate projects and strategic initiatives, including monitoring implementation of departmental plans, tracking key activities, and supporting regulatory compliance.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Director, including calendar management, issue resolution, communications, and document preparation.
- Plan and support events, including resource allocation, contract coordination, expense management, and post-event analysis.
- Develop, update, and implement operational policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with university policies and collective agreements.
- Oversee office and facilities operations, including workspace requests, access management, maintenance coordination, and related services.
- Coordinate meetings, communications, records management, and information-sharing processes while maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Serve as a primary liaison for external partners and stakeholders and act on behalf of the Director during absences, as required.
- Support human resources activities, including onboarding, staff engagement initiatives, job description updates, and staff supervision as assigned.
What You Bring
- Diploma or certificate in office administration or equivalent post-secondary education.
- Minimum 5 years directly related experience in financial and budget administration as well as office management.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Familiarity or ability to learn to use specific software packages such as Adobe Acrobat and WebCheckout.
- Experience working in an academic environment.
- Familiarity with the Colleague and Infosilem systems.
