Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the university level, including course preparation, lecture delivery, and student assessment.
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English and French), with the ability to teach and support students in one or both official languages.
- Evidence of scholarly or professional expertise in the relevant academic discipline, with a record of research, publications, or professional practice as appropriate.
- Commitment to student success, mentorship, and inclusive pedagogy in a diverse and multicultural academic environment.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD or equivalent strongly preferred; terminal degree required in many disciplines).
- Experience with innovative teaching methods, educational technologies, and continuous course improvement is an asset.
- Willingness to contribute to departmental service, committees, and broader university initiatives.
