Your opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Student Success and under the direction of the Lead, Systems and Data Management, you will provide systems supportfor the CLNx (Career and Co-Curricular Learning Network) and Folio, along with support for any new systems adopted, which would include: managing incoming queries from students, recent graduates, PostDocs and Student Life staff, setting up account accessand permissions, applying labels and filters, configuring systems components, conducting staff training, developing training assets, pulling data and troubleshooting technical issues. You will work with campus and tri-campus partners to creatively problem solve and ensure consistency of service delivery. In addition, you will provide technical expertise on special projects related to supporting student success. Working within a team, you will consult with Student Life staff to understand their system andreporting needs and determine the appropriate configuration required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries
Following rules and procedural instructions when creating, maintaining and/or deactivating user accounts
Configuring system features and applications
Running queries to gather data
Monitoring system functionality and preparing standard reports
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Liaising with clients to resolve minor complaints and address issues
Drafting and editing training content. Training end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum three years experience supporting CRM database systems (e.g. Orbis, Simplicity, Clockwork), including systems administration, technical troubleshooting, end-user support, configuring system applications, conducting technology upgrades and enhancements, gathering data and reporting.
Strong computer skillswith CRM/Information management database systems, HTML, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Demonstrated experience with excel and databases required.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), as well as interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills to be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience managing effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders (e.g. employers, alumni, students, staff, faculty).
Ability to manage conflicting demands, problem-solve and work well under pressure.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to train varying levels of end-userson systems.
Must show evidence of a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the promotion of a respectful and collegial learning and working environment.
