Would you like to contribute to a large-scale project and put your expertise to work where it will have a real impact? Upbrella International is currently recruiting a Quality and Compliance Engineer.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be the go-to resource for quality and regulatory compliance at Upbrella. You will implement the control mechanisms that improve the quality of our drawings, our products and our ways of working, and you will build the company's knowledge base on the standards and codes that apply to our work, both here and abroad.

Your Responsibilities

Monitor the quality of the work performed by our suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
Implement tools to document the costs of non-quality and the sources of recurring issues
Develop and gradually roll out a quality plan
Engage teams so that corrective actions are applied at the source, and contribute to smooth project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction

Regulatory Compliance

Build and maintain the company's knowledge base on the standards environment that applies to our work: local, national and international standards, the Labour Code and occupational health and safety standards, machinery and equipment standards, and lifting and rigging standards
Ensure our work complies with our prevention program and those of our clients
Help prepare the documents required for the certification processes under way (New York, Toronto, CE marking)
Act as the main point of contact for clients and authorities on all compliance matters

Profile Sought
