Job Description
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. This position may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent
Work Location: 634 Neal Dr. Peterborough
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Shift Start: 4:00AM Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, but hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational need. Flexibility required.
Pay rate: $18.50/hr.
Monthly union dues (approximately $52/month) A union initiation fee of $50 (will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS)
Exposed to hot/cold temperatures when working warehouse environment and outdoors

Pay rate: $18.50/hr.
- All Applicants must work a minimum 25 hrs/ week**
- Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
- Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
- Sort and stock packages based on postal codes
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg)
- Full availability to work Monday to Saturday
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working inside package delivery vehicles
- Warehouse experience (would be considered an asset)
- $18.50/hr. / automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement.
- Unionized position with automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate of $36.53/hr. after 48 months of service
- Paid training
- Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit- Every Friday

Load and unload packages into delivery vehicles and trailers, and perform shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking tasks. Follow established package-handling methods and complete other assigned duties in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Applicants must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, work Monday to Saturday, and read and memorize postal codes. They must be comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced warehouse and inside delivery vehicles; warehouse experience is an asset.
