Job Description
Operates a warehouse with inbound and outbound freight shipments processed quickly. Supports business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal groups for international and domestic air and ocean shipments. May arrange climate-controlled transportation, labeling, and shipping through UPS and competitor networks. Provides specialized transport like onboard couriers and crane deliveries as needed. May operate freezer farms and cold rooms. Monitors facility performance to ensure timely processing and customer satisfaction. Responsible for daily activities including loading/unloading containers, storing medical units and samples, pulling orders, freight sorting, customer support, facility inspections, and handling employee concerns. Delivers hands-on work, typically related to the core UPS business operations. Follows established processes and procedures to execute work efficiently and safely. Performs manual work that requires proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Performs a range of tasks and makes minor modifications to work routines within established procedures and guidelines. Completes work with a limited supervision and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues.
The rate of pay for the successful candidate will range from $21.21/hr to $25.45/hr.
