This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys full-cycle accounting, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records;
  • Support the Controller with financial reporting, analysis, reconciliations, and accounting projects;
  • Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies, unusual variances, and opportunities for improvement;
  • Assist with preparing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules;
  • Support project accounting, including job costing, project billing, work-in-progress (WIP), and reconciliation of project costs;
  • Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other general ledger transactions;
  • Provide backup coverage for AP, AR, and Payroll as required;
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting, including payroll journal entries, benefits reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments;
  • Reconcile bank accounts, corporate credit cards, intercompany transactions, and other accounts as required;
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations;
  • Support cash flow reporting and monitor outstanding receivables, payables, and other financial obligations;
  • Prepare working papers, supporting schedules, and documentation for year-end audit preparation;
  • Work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and job costing;
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, reporting, and SOPs.
