Team Lead, Warehouse

Our team is made up of dedicated and hardworking individuals who together create a rewarding and welcoming work environment. We are currently hiring a Team Lead, Warehouse to join our team.

The Team Lead, Warehouse oversees the day-to-day dock operations, ensuring the efficient coordination of shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This role is a true player coach role where you will be doing the work while leading. This role serves as the key link between dock staff, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety across all dock functions. The position reports directly to the Manager, Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory - Milton, and will work Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dock operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and material handling activities.
  
• Lead and support dock employees in loading, unloading, and organizing shipments according to schedule and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations, resolve delays, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries using internal systems and logs.
  
• Conduct regular dock inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within your respective area. 
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Support the shipping department in coordinating resources, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years shipping experience, preferably in a NON PALLETIZED SHIPPING ENVIRONMENT. 
  
• Garage Door experience preferred. 
• Prior experience in a leadership or lead hand capacity.
• Strong understanding or shipping, receiving, and transportation coordination.
• Ability to operate forklifts and related warehouse equipment. 
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods. 
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable conditions.
