Application Architect - #26-26043

Contract Duration: 12 Month

Schedule: 2 Days onsite, 3 days remote

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Participate multiple Teams/Webex calls specific to the project being worked on, discussing requirements, solutions, standards that apply
• Participate in team meetings with the architecture team, covering upcoming work, team announcements, etc.
• Research possible solutions and relevant solution patters to address specific requirements
• Create deliverables (architecture designs, decision records, patterns, etc.) and present to various forums for approval
• Participate in peer review sessions for artifacts created by other members of the team

Meeting and Interaction Details

• How much time is being spent in meetings: 4+ hours per day on average
• Who are they interacting with (internal/external): internal and external
• Will the contractor have access to any customer data? No

Candidate Profile Details:

• Degree/Level of Education: Degree or Diploma is a must have
• Certifications Required: Anything within Amazon contact centre (Amazon Solution Architecture or associated with Amazon Connect)
• Years of Overall Experience: 2+ years of experience
• How will performance be measured: Deliverables, timelines and quality of work
• Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background: someone who has extensive experience within the contact centre space (desktop applications, workforce applications, Amazon Connect) someone who has worked within a highly regulated environment (banking, FI or medical)

Must-Have Skills:

• 2+ years of experience as an Architect within IT OR 4+ years of prior Lead developer experience
• Experience defining solutions sets from requirements
• Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Experience presenting to large groups of people in person or virtually (50 people)
• Jira and Confluence experience

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Strong sense of urgency and adaptive to changes
• Team player
• Working collaboratively with the business

Nice-to-Have

• Agile experience
• contact Centre experience (IVR flows, desktop solutions, telecom etc.)
• Experience with Agentic AI solutions
• Amazon Solution Architect certification
• Experience within high regulated environment - Banking, Financial institution or medical
