Duration: 1 Year Contract (Extension and conversion possibility based on business needs and performance)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours, 37.5 Hours/Week (Hybrid: 2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote) | Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description:

• Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst V to support internal development initiatives focused on enterprise data and AI solutions within a highly regulated environment.

• The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive project deliverables, support AI and data-focused initiatives, create technical documentation, and bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

• This role offers exposure to innovative AI-related projects and provides an excellent opportunity for professionals interested in advancing toward Product Owner or Product Management roles.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, technical, and data requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to support enterprise data and AI initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, roadmaps, process flows, and project artifacts.

• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly recommendations and requirements.

• Support risk management activities within a highly regulated environment.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog management, and project planning sessions.

• Utilize Python and SQL to review, analyze, and support data-related initiatives.

• Maintain project documentation and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Clarity, and SharePoint.

• Support project delivery timelines, milestones, and quality standards.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment with shifting priorities.

Experience:

• Must have 5+ years of risk management experience within financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.

• Must have 5+ years of Business Analyst or Data Analyst experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of Business/Data Analyst experience with a Master's degree.

• Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and Agile practices.

• Proven experience creating technical documentation and business requirements.

• Experience reading and writing code using Python and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Clarity, and SharePoint.

• Experience utilizing Microsoft Copilot.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful business outcomes.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities.

• Experience with AI, Data Science, or enterprise data initiatives is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma required Or Master's Degree preferred in Computer Science, Business Analysis, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Certifications: AI, Data Science, or Cloud certification.

Shift Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week, Hybrid Schedule: 2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote
