Job description

Our Client is seeking an IT Security Delivery Specialist to support security policy and firewall delivery across on-premises and cloud environments. You will help application teams deploy securely by designing, implementing and assessing firewall and segmentation rules. Join a team of approximately 25 in a long-term enterprise engagement with potential for extension and conversion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical and cloud firewall solutions aligned with security architecture and network standards.
• Provision, assess and document firewall policies and segmentation rules for application onboarding and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with security, network, infrastructure, application and business teams to translate requirements into secure designs.
• Follow governance, audit, peer-review and change-management requirements; advise on risk, exceptions and compensating controls.
• Provide Tier 3/4 support for complex firewall incidents and deployments; improve delivery processes and operational readiness.

Required skillsets

• 5+ years of firewall technology experience, including Palo Alto, Guardicore and/or Netskope.
• Automation experience and ServiceNow; strong troubleshooting and issue resolution. The intake specifies five years for each of these skill categories.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification and understanding of enterprise change management.
• Knowledge of network security, integrated security devices and hybrid on premises/cloud implementation.
• Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, problem-solving, independent judgment and mentoring ability.

Preferred skillsets

• Palo Alto with Panorama; Guardicore; Netskope; Tufin policy orchestration; Akamai; F5 Shape; Zero Trust; Cisco routing; banking, financial services or other large-enterprise experience.

Certification / licenses: ITIL v3 Foundation required; licenses not specified.

Education / experience: Computer science or relevant degree; 5+ years of progressive firewall technology experience
