Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced Application / Solutions Architect to support a large-scale healthcare technology initiative.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, enhancement, integration, and optimization of complex enterprise applications.
- The role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, business analysts, database teams, and other technical resources to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technology solutions.
- The position requires a strong combination of solution architecture, hands-on application development, enterprise integration, and technical leadership.
- The candidate will be involved throughout the application lifecycle, including architecture, technical design, development, testing, implementation, performance optimization, and production stabilization.
- This is a full-time onsite position in Fredericton, NB.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of complex healthcare and enterprise applications.
- Provide solution architecture guidance and technical direction to developers and technical consultants.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable application solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and document solution architecture and technical design specifications.
- Lead and participate in application analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Design and support integrations across multiple enterprise applications and systems.
- Provide architectural guidance across multiple systems, applications, and business domains.
- Analyze and implement performance improvements for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, DBAs, developers, and other technical teams.
- Ensure secure application design and coding practices are followed.
- Support User Acceptance Testing, system testing, defect management, and production stabilization.
- Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and support production fixes.
- Participate in technical working groups, Agile/Scrum meetings, and other project activities as required.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
Experience:- 15+ years of demonstrated experience in Information Management / Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Programmer / Systems Analyst.
- 3+ years of experience as an Application Architect / Solutions Architect / Technical Architect.
- 8+ years of experience working with Provincial Healthcare and Electronic Healthcare applications in a Canadian context is highly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience developing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions.
- 5+ years of experience working with large-scale software systems involving web interfaces, batch processes, time-based transactions, long-running transactions, and multiple integration points.
- 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience involving multiple systems and business domains.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and implementing performance improvements for large-scale enterprise applications.
- 8+ years of .NET development experience.
- 8+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience.
- 5+ years of Java and JavaScript development experience.
- Candidates must be available to work full-time onsite in Fredericton, NB.
