Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager III to manage third-party business arrangements throughout the Third-Party Management Lifecycle (TPML). This role will focus on vendor performance, risk management, governance, compliance, and stakeholder relationships.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, supporting new vendor engagements and ensuring third-party relationships are effectively managed in accordance with organizational policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage third-party business arrangements throughout all stages of the Third-Party Management Lifecycle (TPML).
- Monitor, analyze, and report vendor performance against SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs.
- Identify, assess, and escalate vendor-related risks and issues.
- Support risk mitigation and resolution of complex vendor issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support and initiate new vendor engagements.
- Guide stakeholders through third-party management processes and requirements.
- Ensure vendor arrangements comply with applicable policies, standards, and governance requirements.
- Support vendor transitions, changes, and terminations.
- Conduct internal and external research and assist with management presentations and reporting.
- Collaborate with sourcing, procurement, risk, and business teams to support vendor-related initiatives.
- Support project activities related to vendor management, risk, governance, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Vendor Management experience.
- 5+ years of Third-Party Management Lifecycle (TPML) experience.
- University degree or diploma.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking or financial services.
- Experience with third-party risk assessment and governance.
- Project management experience, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience with vendor/procurement platforms such as Coupa or Ariba.
- PMP or CSP certification.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
