Customer Service Representative

These solutions include: Integrated Supply Chain Management, Production Cutting Tool Reconditioning, Industrial Vending, Custom Value Added Solutions, Information Technology and Product Engineering. Founded in 1958, we grew to be the largest cutting tool reconditioning firm in North America. Our customers include the largest aerospace and defense contractors in the industry and major manufacturers in the power generation, fluid control and transportation markets. US Tool Group has been committed to providing quality products and outstanding service, supported by the uncompromising dedication of our employees.
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package and RRSP program.

Passing Buyers Training
Problem solving skills
Actively seeking and documenting conversion opportunities to move spend to USTG preferred suppliers with documented successes
Understanding of purchasing process
Understanding of departmental touch points in order flow
Comprehensive understanding of suppliers and products offered
Positive Attitude with excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail, recognize and report issues
Awareness of NDA's and confidential information (customer prints / special pricing)
Ensures that agreements are executed that protect the organization, and ensures that no information is disseminated without proper controls. Limits the flow of information internally and externally for confidential subject matter. Files intellectual property documents to secure rights, if necessary.
A typical day may look like this:
Customer Service Role – Quote request from customer, deliver, general inquiries from customers
Supplier RFQ’s
Customer Quote/Order Entry
Determine Supplier/Source
Initiate Blanket POs
Create Part Numbers Spot buy
Main contact for customers
Discrepancies
RMA’s – Both sides/ Supplier and internal
Expediting
Applies total cost analysist to purchasing decisions
Education
High school – Mandatory
Post-secondary education preferred (CEGEP, college diploma, or equivalent). Equivalent combination of education and customer service experience will also be considered.
