You Are

UST is searching for a highly skilled Senior BI Developer with a strong commercial/business domain background to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Business Intelligence solutions.

The Opportunity

Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI and reporting solutions using Power BI
Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support analytics and reporting requirements
Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable business insights
Utilize Python scripting for data extraction, transformation, automation, and advanced analytics
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure data quality and reliability
Work closely with data engineering and business teams to implement best practices for BI development
Support ad hoc reporting requests and analytical initiatives

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields
Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases
Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development
Strong knowledge of Data Modeling concepts
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing
Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing solutions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working with commercial/business operations data is preferred

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Ontario

Compensation Range: $104,000-$130,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
