Solution architecture: Work with clients to understand requirements and architect a solution and approach, providing end-to-end solution and design details throughout the sales process.
Cross-functional coordination: Lead collaboration with other architects on cross-functional opportunities, ensuring deadlines are met and prospects receive timely responses.
Proposals and estimating: Support initial UST proposals and provide quality assurance for respective service areas throughout the proposal process, and accurately estimate effort and resources for areas of expertise.
Business development: Serve as product SME both internally and externally and assist in qualifying business development opportunities.
Market and product currency: Stay current on market, industry, and Workday trends and feedback, and coordinate with product leads so the latest solution developments and Workday release features are reflected in sales materials.
Delivery transition: Ensure maximum transparency, accuracy, and knowledge transfer to delivery, support the transition from Sales to Delivery, and provide guidance and solution recommendations to in-flight project teams.
Domain expertise: Maintain expertise in Workday Financials products and services, collaborate with Delivery Leaders on delivery practices and market insights, and use that expertise to support billable customer work and train consultants.
Travel: Up to 50% travel may be required, including regional user group events (RUGs) and on-site sales engagements.
