Job Title: Automotive Data Acquisition Engineer
Job Location: Windsor, ON
Job Description
The Data Acquisition Engineer will be responsible for setting up and conducting data acquisition using various data acquisition systems. This involves coordinating test specimen build, setting up data acquisition systems, data processing, communicating with stakeholders. As part of the core responsibilities, the Data Acquisition Engineer will be required to have a detailed understanding of the data acquisition systems and various transducers used and how they interact as well as CAN communication. The ability to operate and conduct data acquisition at company grounds The successful candidate will be a process and detail oriented individual with a proven ability to lead projects from start to finish with minimal guidance. Additionally, good communication and leadership skills are required to coordinate and instruct bargaining unit mechanics in performing vehicle instrumentation, part strain gauging and part changes.
Education: Minimum Bachelor of Science of Engineering. We prefer Electrical for this role, but we will take Mechanical or other similar experience.
